Senco air-powered tools are famous for their durability and features, and this finish stapler is no exception. The PowerPlus SLS20 is incredibly powerful yet surprisingly lightweight; combining an ergonomic design and a soft grip, it’s also exceptionally easy to handle. Its magazine has the capacity to hold 168 18-gauge, 3/8- to 1-1/2-inch staples. We appreciate the adjustable depth-of-drive control that allows for precise countersinking, an especially important feature for furniture assembly. This stapler is also excellent for working on molding, trim, underlayment, soffits, and crafts. Safety is a chief concern with pneumatic staplers, and Senco pneumatic products include impressive safety features. A no-mar safety and restrictive trigger reduce the chances of accidental firings. The bottom-load magazine has a smart design, including a molded lever that keeps the magazine from accidentally opening. There’s also a clear sight hole so you can check on the staple supply.
