This handy dual port charger uses a DeWalt patented three-stage charging system to maximize performance and life for your NiCad batteries. First, the DW9216 provides maximum charge of two batteries in just one hour. And then, a 1- to 3-hour equalization mode charges each individual cell fully. After the equalization charges complete, the maintenance charge keeps the batteries fully charged.

This convenient charger features a thermal protection system that protects batteries that are too hot or too cold and adjusts accordingly, and it offers diagnostics with an LED indicator to indicate your battery’s charge status. Five lights tell you at a glance where the battery is in the charging process.
