While one assumes that gunnails are the same. They’re not. Depending on the type or brand of gun that you have, I have noticed that the DeWalt nails I purchased move smoothly in the magazine and don’t double fire as much. That coupled with a great price, makes it a good buy.

I’ve left intact the warning I’ve been giving below, only because whoever edited this page misspelled “Galvanized” so I’m not sure they actually do have this product figured out. Should I order? Will I get, like last time, the wrong nails? Somebody weigh in and let me know.n

EARLIER STATEMENT.n
n
These are great nails and I will n
not buy any other than DeWalt until someone demonstrates to me that another brand works as well as these excellent nails have been working on my electric nailer.n
n
HOWEVER. I ordered one box, each, of the galvanized and un-galvanized nails. What I received was two boxes of UN-GALVANIZED nails. n

Please note that as of today (19 March 2008) the Amazon warehouse and this website think that the galvanized and ungalvanized nails have the same DeWalt number–DCA15250. Wrong! The galvanized nails should have the DeWalt number–DCA15250G (the G at the end indicates Galvanized.)n

Last month I sent an e-mail with my request for refund and it seemed to have been handled entirely electronically so I have my doubts that the problem is solved. Also, I filled in the feedback request at the bottom of this page. As soon as the numbering at the top of this page gets squared away I figure someone at Amazon has become aware of, and fixed, the problem, at which time I will: 1. order Galvanized nails, and 2. delete this warning about the confusion.n

As long as the galvanized and UN-galvanized nails are listed with the same product number–DCA1525–then I will figure the problem has NOT been resolved.n
