Product Description
The DeWalt DC2PAKCA Factory Reconditioned Combo Kit offers you the convenience of speed and power in two tools – a hammerdrill and a reciprocating saw. The hammerdrill is easy to handle and is beautifully balanced. The 1/2″ chuck grabs the bit powerfully and centers it quickly, locking it into place with the ratcheting system. Vibration is down to a minimum in the hammerdrill even at maximum RPM, so it’s not difficult to control.

The reciprocating saw has a keyless blade clamp system that makes for easy blade changes. It’s also extremely powerful, with up to 3,000 strokes per minute. The stroke length is 1-1/8″, so you can get aggressive cutting and more even blade wear. You can set the blade in four positions to help you reach whatever you’re cutting and the depth adjustment is as easy as pushing a button and adjusting the show. You get great control from this tool with the comfort grip that reduces vibration. The two tools together make the DC2PAKCA Factory Reconditioned Combo Kit a great value.

With this 2-1/2-inch, 16-gauge finish nailer, Porter-Cable continues to make good on their reputation as one of the top pneumatic toolmakers. The gun’s straight magazine is well thought out, made from aluminum, and top loading. This is a sturdy, compact nailer that shoots a conveniently wide range of 16-gauge nails, from 3/4 to 2-1/2 inches. The nailer has a good balance and a nice, thin grip made of porous rubber. (You don’t have to have the hands of a giant to comfortably operate this gun.) The gun has a nicely designed depth-of-drive adjustment. There’s also a muffled exhaust port, so it’s quieter than a lot of other nailers–plus the exhaust port is adjustable, so you can direct the discharge where you want it. The gun’s also lighter than we’d expected, always a good thing in a tool a lot of us use all day long. –Jon Groebner
